Poclain introduces a groundbreaking approach to product analysis with augmented reality. Traditionally, technical reports and photographs have been the primary tools for conveying the state of a product after analysis. While effective, these methods have their limitations in fully conveying the intricate details of the analysis. Real time augmented reality analysis bridges this gap by allowing customers to see the complete state of their product as if they were inspecting it firsthand.
The process begins with the customer shipping their motor to our plant for analysis. Once the product is received, a live virtual meeting is scheduled. During this meeting, customers can join Poclain's expert team, including Application Engineers and Designers, as they conduct the analysis. Our technicians, equipped with state-of-the-art augmented reality lenses, provide a real-time, in-depth view of the motor's condition. Additional data can be displayed on the screen in the meantime.
Customers can interact with the team throughout the process, asking questions and receiving immediate feedback. This live interaction ensures that any concerns or queries are addressed on the spot, enhancing the overall understanding and satisfaction with the analysis. Additionally, customers receive a comprehensive written report and supplementary data, providing a thorough overview of the product's condition and recommendations for next steps.

Case study and future potential applications
Our last case study is the remote analysis we conducted for a motor at our Brno plant. The request came from our colleagues in France's Design Department, who wanted to determine if the motor could be eligible for our remanufacturing program. The live augmented reality session allowed our French colleagues to see the motor's condition firsthand, discuss it with our experts, and make an informed decision quickly and efficiently.

Currently, we are already using augmented reality for training purposes, demonstrating its versatility and effectiveness.
