Poclain Receives Caterpillar Excellence Award for the 9th Consecutive Year
We are thrilled to announce that our plant in India has once again been honored with the Caterpillar Supplier Quality Excellence Process (SQEP) award for the year 2024. This marks the 9th consecutive year that we have received this prestigious recognition, underscoring our unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
The award was presented in September 2024 following a thorough audit by Caterpillar. This recognition is based on multiple criteria, including Quality (PPM defects YTD), Costs, Velocity (supplier capacity planning), Development (PPAP on-time performance), and Management (quality and environmental certifications).
This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team in India. It is a collective success, and we extend our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to everyone involved.
A Commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction
We have implemented several key initiatives to improve quality and enhance customer satisfaction, such as an employee involvement program and continuous strengthening of the seven basic quality tools. In addition, we conduct regular Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to identify potential failures and develop optimal solutions. Furthermore, we focus on digitalization, improving part-level traceability, and advancing skill development and leadership to effectively ensure long-term high performance and customer satisfaction.
Our next goal for the next 2 years is to reach less than 100 ppm.
