Poclain Joins a Leading International Initiative
Created in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact brings together more than 20,000 companies and 3,500 organizations across 160 countries, making it the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. It is based on 10 fundamental principles related to human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Its mission is to guide and support the global business community in promoting the United Nations’ goals and values through responsible business practices. The Global Compact is also mandated by the UN to assist in implementing the 2030 Agenda and integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the economic sphere.
The UN Global Compact serves as a benchmark tool for all companies, setting objectives and providing means to achieve them according to their size and activity.
