Electrification Solutions & Services

Poclain’s electro-mobility team is electrifying off highway machines combining high efficiency rugged hydraulics with state-of-the-art power electronics and electric components to match the performances of current diesel versions.

The “e+h” electro-hydraulic solutions comprises of two base system architectures to adapt to OEM’s expectations, machines geometry and use case. The first one is structured around a single electric motor driving a pump stack - closed-loop variable displacement for transmission and open-loop pumps for auxiliary functions. The second uses two electric motors, one for propulsion and another that acts as an APU with an open loop pump.

To illustrate strategic company shifts towards electrification and IoT/connected engineering, we will present our electro-hydraulics small–tandem roller at Bauma.

Bauma will also be an opportunity to learn more about Poclain’s technology partner, EMSISO, their emDrive® product line and R&D capabilities. EMSISO contributes a technological brick to the core performance of electric powertrains that feeds POCLAIN’s electrohydraulic system offering.
