Poclain Trencin Partners With Universities in Slovakia
The Poclain Group is expanding its collaboration with universities. One of the first actions taken by Poclain Trencin at the beginning of 2022 was the introduction of students for internship contracts. The main motivation for this activity was to establish a direct link with the University of Trencin, to find and develop new talents for future cooperation, and to increase the capacity and flexibility of our team.
The candidate from local Alexander Dubcek University of Trencin was accepted. Since spring 2022, the third-year student of the Faculty of Special Technology in Trencin, Adrian Malych as a Design Technician, is part of the team. After a few weeks of familiarization with Poclain's products, processes and culture, Adrian has become a valuable member of the team. He contributes to ongoing activities, Engineering Change Request (ECR), Part Codification Request (PCR), Part Modification Request (PMR) and even to the development of new projects. He is currently working on his bachelor thesis, defined by Poclain Hydraulics and with the support of our experienced engineers.
We are convinced that this activity is beneficial for all parties involved and we plan to extend our collaboration with universities on different topics and activities in the coming years.
