Poclain Group Sells Poclain Technicast Foundry To C2MAC Group
The Poclain Group sold its Poclain Technicast foundry in Sablé-sur-Sarthe (France), which specialises in ductile iron for the hydraulic sector, to the Italian company C2MAC Group S.p.A, a business backed by the Italian Investment Fund, on July 11, 2022.
The parallel signing of a long-term strategic partnership with C2MAC ensures that its supplies are secure, the key reason behind Poclain's acquisition of Technicast in 2015. This sale forms part of Poclain's strategic plan, the main aim of which is to focus on satisfying the needs of its clients and adapting to the energy transition of its markets.
The choice of C2MAC reflects the determination to offer the Technicast foundry an opportunity to become part of a Group that specialises in its core business: the acquisition will provide Technicast with technical expertise and financial support, together with new market openings designed to maintain and grow its activities. The sale project received a positive opinion from Technicast's works council. We passe the torch to C2MAC who will write a new page in the history of this beautiful foundry made up of employees whose undeniable know-how will be one of the keys to success.
