CHINA HOLDS ANNUAL DISTRIBUTOR TRAINING

Poclain Hydraulics China holds annual trainings for our Chinese distributor network in Asia. Our most recent training session took place this summer where we welcomed over 50 distributors for a weeklong training focusing on Poclain Hydraulics’ core motor technology.

This distributor training was the first one lead by a Poclain Hydraulics Training Center – Asia (PHTCA) instructor in China in coordination with application engineers’ team. Developed to help our distributors deliver a consistent level of sales excellence, our training program helps attendees improve general hydraulic knowledge and better understand the intricacies of Poclain motors. The course gives our distributors the tools they need to help their customers integrate the Poclain solutions best adapted for their applications. The course material goes from pictures and theory to real hands-on product experience and putting theory into practice.

Attendees ranged in experience from long time partners with a lot of experience and knowledge to share as well as a number of attendees who are newer to the industry that came ready to learn.

Beyond taking a deep dive into the technical aspects of our motors, this year’s trainees had the opportunity to tour our Shanghai plant and see first-hand our three advanced assembly lines for motors, pumps and valves. With the advent of PHTC-A, we look forward to more successful trainings in China and Asia as a whole.
